It depends on your consumption. A typical residential system ranges from $65,000 to $250,000 MXN. Most of our clients finance it over 24, 36 or 48 months with payments lower than their current CFE bill.
Almost entirely. You eliminate the consumption charge (which is 90-95% of the bill), leaving only a fixed bimonthly fee to stay connected to the grid. Most clients pay between $80 and $150 MXN every two months.
That's exactly when switching to solar makes the most sense. Panels automatically bring you back to the subsidized rate because your net consumption from the grid drops to a minimum. Savings are much greater for clients on the high-consumption (DAC) tariff.
The physical installation takes 1-3 days. The full process (quote, engineering, installation, CFE interconnection paperwork and energizing) takes between 30 and 60 days.
