Photovoltaics

Solar panels

The most frequently asked questions about photovoltaic systems.

The cost varies depending on your current electricity consumption and the size of the system required. For a small home (150-300 kWh/month) the range is $30,000 to $50,000 MXN; for a medium-sized home (300-500 kWh/month), between $50,000 and $70,000 MXN. For larger homes or businesses with higher consumption, the cost varies widely depending on your needs.

At Sinergic we conduct a personalized consumption study and an assessment of your property to give you an accurate, no-surprises quote, ensuring your investment is as efficient as possible.

Savings are one of the main attractions. For homes, your bill from CFE (Mexico's federal electricity utility) can drop by up to 99%, especially under the high-consumption (DAC) tariff. For businesses, savings can exceed $400,000 MXN per month in cases of high consumption or medium-voltage tariffs.

With a Sinergic system you will see a dramatic reduction in your bill from the very first month, freeing you from CFE rate increases.

The return on investment is very attractive. For homes it is typically 2 to 3 years; for businesses it can be as short as 1.5 to 2.5 years. It depends on your current consumption, your CFE tariff, and an efficiently designed system.

At Sinergic we provide a detailed analysis of the expected ROI for your project, showing you when you will start enjoying free, clean energy.

Grid interconnection with CFE is a regulated but straightforward process with the right guidance: an interconnection application, a technical evaluation by CFE, contract signing, and installation of a bidirectional meter that records both what you consume and what you generate.

At Sinergic we handle all CFE paperwork for you, from system engineering to commissioning with the bidirectional meter, guaranteeing a hassle-free process.

Maintenance is minimal: periodic cleaning (once or twice a year depending on the area) and an annual technical inspection to check connections and components.

Sinergic offers corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance plans so your system always operates at peak efficiency and its service life is extended.

Quality panels have a guaranteed service life of 25 to 30 years, retaining 80-85% of their initial efficiency. Inverters carry warranties of 5 to 15 years and can last longer with proper maintenance.

At Sinergic we work only with leading manufacturers, offering the best product and performance warranties.

No. Photovoltaic systems typically operate under a grid interconnection (Net Metering) scheme with CFE. When your panels generate more than you consume, the surplus is credited to your bill; when there is no sun, you draw energy from the grid using those credits.

Sinergic sizes your system to maximize your savings and ensure you always have the energy you need, whether from the sun or from the grid.

Yes. Companies and individuals with business activity can deduct 100% of the cost of panels and equipment in a single fiscal year, under Article 34, Section XIII of Mexico's Income Tax Law (Ley del ISR). There are also financing options with preferential rates or installment plans that are offset by your savings.

At Sinergic we advise you on the financing schemes and tax benefits available to maximize your investment.

Energy Storage

BESS systems

Everything about backup battery systems.

A BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) stores the excess energy your panels produce during the day. It gives you self-sufficiency and backup (power at night, on cloudy days, or during outages), additional savings (avoiding purchases from CFE during peak hours), and supply stability (protection against voltage fluctuations).

At Sinergic we design comprehensive solutions that combine your panels' generation with the intelligent backup of a BESS.

It varies by capacity (kWh) and technology (mainly lithium). For a home, a backup system can start at $100,000, depending on the autonomy required and the equipment to be backed up. For industrial applications, systems are sized to order.

At Sinergic we offer a personalized analysis to determine the ideal battery size for your home or business.

The most recommended technology is Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4). Compared to lead-acid batteries, lithium batteries last longer, are more efficient, require no maintenance, and are more compact and safer.

Sinergic works only with leading lithium battery brands, backed by superior warranties.

If the system is connected to the grid, the grid interconnection process applies. If it is off-grid (standalone) or used only for emergency backup without interconnection, no additional paperwork is required. Most residential systems use a hybrid inverter that manages both solar power and the battery.

At Sinergic we handle all the necessary paperwork with CFE, from the initial study to commissioning.

It is measured in charge and discharge cycles. High-quality lithium batteries typically deliver 6,000 to 10,000 cycles, or an average of 15 to 20 years of daily use. Reputable manufacturers offer warranties of 10 to 15 years.

With Sinergic you work with equipment from recognized manufacturers and performance warranties that protect your investment for the long term.

Yes, it is possible (an off-grid system), but it is not always the most practical choice: it requires oversizing panels and batteries, which raises the cost. Most projects in Mexico opt for a hybrid system that combines solar savings with CFE backup.

At Sinergic we help you evaluate whether an off-grid system is viable for your case or whether a hybrid is the smarter, more economical solution.

High-end lithium batteries require virtually no maintenance. Only a periodic visual inspection and an annual check by a professional to verify the inverter and the connections.

Sinergic offers service plans and remote monitoring that proactively alert you to any anomaly.

Lithium batteries for solar use include a Battery Management System (BMS) that monitors and controls temperature, voltage, and current, preventing overcharging, over-discharging, and overheating. They are very safe.

At Sinergic we only install equipment with safety certifications and the most advanced technology.

E-Mobility

Electric vehicle chargers

Get answers about electric vehicle charging.

Level 1: the most basic, uses 120V; very slow (24-48 h for a full charge), ideal for small batteries or short commutes. Level 2: the most common and recommended for homes and businesses, uses 220V and charges in 4-8 hours. Level 3 (fast charging): power ratings up to 500 kW, full charge in 15-30 minutes, used at public charging stations.

At Sinergic we specialize in Level 2 chargers for their best combination of speed, efficiency, and convenience. For industrial Level 3 we are developing a product that will launch soon.

It varies by type, brand, and complexity. Level 2 equipment can range from $8,000 to $25,000 MXN, and installation (materials and labor) from $10,000 to $20,000 MXN, depending on the distance to the load center, the wiring, and any electrical upgrades required.

At Sinergic we give you a detailed, transparent quote that includes equipment and installation, with no hidden costs.

It depends on each case; sometimes an independent line and a dedicated circuit are required. To keep your consumption from pushing you into the high-consumption (DAC) tariff, it is advisable to install solar panels or request a second meter dedicated to the charger.

Sinergic takes care of all the paperwork with CFE, ensuring compliance with regulations (such as NOM-001-SEDE).

Yes, and it is the perfect combination! You charge your vehicle with clean, free energy, maximizing your savings. The charger draws power from your home's electrical system, which in turn is fed by your panels.

At Sinergic we specialize in both technologies and design a system that covers your daily consumption plus your vehicle's charging.

When you add your vehicle's consumption, your usage can exceed your tariff's limit and move you into the high-consumption (DAC) tariff, with a much higher cost per kWh. The smartest solution is to install solar panels and become independent; another option is a second meter dedicated to the charger.

Sinergic advises you on how to avoid this risk and protect your finances over the long term.

Added value (attracting employees, customers, and suppliers with electric cars), a green image, tax benefits (the investment may be deductible), and future-readiness as an innovative company.

Sinergic offers charging solutions for fleets and corporate parking lots, with smart management to monitor consumption, control access, and even monetize the service.

Most electric vehicles in Mexico use the J1772 (Type 1) connector for Levels 1 and 2. Teslas use their own connector but include a J1772 adapter. It is worth verifying your vehicle's connector.

At Sinergic we work with a wide range of chargers compatible with the most common connectors on the Mexican market.

Installing a Level 2 charger at a home or business usually takes 1 to 2 days in most cases. It can vary if complex electrical upgrades are required or if the distance to the load center is long.

Sinergic coordinates the installation quickly and professionally so your charger is ready as soon as possible.
