The process, step by step
- 1. Study and design: the system is sized based on your historical consumption and the capacity to be interconnected is defined.
- 2. Interconnection application: the project's technical documentation and the property information are submitted to CFE.
- 3. Review and approval: CFE verifies that the system complies with regulations and with the grid conditions in your area.
- 4. Installation and meter replacement: the equipment is installed and CFE installs a bidirectional meter.
- 5. Contract signing and energization: the interconnection contract is formalized and the system goes into operation.
How long does it take?
The complete process, from quote to energization, usually takes between 30 and 60 days, depending on the system's capacity and CFE's timelines in your region.
